A tip of the hat to members of the UC San Diego chapter of the Society
of Hispanic Professional Engineers association. SHPEsters, as they call
themselves, have been busy spreading out the word that science and
engineering are cool to schools throughout San Diego. Recent outreach
events include Logan Elementary School in Logan Heights and the Preuss
